Tushin Mallick is a Ph.D. student in computer science at Northeastern University in Boston, working at the intersection of security and machine learning. My research explores how ML fits into the broader pipeline of secure systems — from reasoning about behavior to enabling stronger defenses.
I conduct my research at the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute under the advisement of Cristina Nita-Rotaru, Ph.D., Before this, I completed my undergraduate studies at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Dhaka, where I was supervised by Shohrab Hossain, Ph.D., and cultivated my early interest in systems and security research.
Outside of research, I enjoy reading books, running, watching sunsets and playing soccer.
